Yes, we’re supposed to be happy that Whitney is no longer the crack addicted, Bobby Brown lover she used to be and I am, I really am, it’s just…this new single is worse than that crack pipe she used to suck on! Yeah, I said it!
It’s her comeback! I was expecting to hear something more upbeat and uplifting – along the lines of Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine,” instead we get this shitty tune.
You are the original Diva and still have so much respect in the industry, why sell yourself so short? Listen – I’m only stating the facts – It’s a cold world outside, you have to dress warm! And she my friends, was definitely not be prepared.
Now don’t get it twisted, I am a Whitney fan but this song is just disappointing and someone needed to say it. The buzz around town is that she pushed up her album to meet the Grammy deadline, well from the sounds of the first track, she might need to go back into the studio and try again!
We have hyped up this album so much that if it doesn’t sell as planned, we might just get a relapse. But, you know what? I’m still rooting for you Ms. Houston, it’s just…better luck next time!
